Niburu, or Planet X, collides with Earth. (Niburu is 4x bigger, as people say). No scientific evidence.
End of the Mayan Calender. Strange, a calender for millenniums ends at 2012. No proof that a calender will blow us up, though.
Precession: Every year the sun moves across the sky, and every 25800 years something called precession happens. The sun is actually going backwards across the sky 1 degree every 72 years. In 25800 years, the sun moves 360 degrees back. This is just nice to know. :]
2012 marks the end of the degenerate age of the god Vishnu (Bhagavan)
Alignment of the sun, earth, and the supermassive black hole in our galaxy means certain death.
Geomagnetic reversal, which switches the north and south poles, releasing an energy equal to around 100 billion atomic bombs, screwing us over. Critics say they take 7000 years to complete and they can start whenever.
