Pain Threshold

AHHHH I STUBBED MY TOE
AHHHH I CUT MYSELF
AHHHH I GOT BURNED

Ever been in pain? Probably.
Multiple studies find that women usually feel pain sooner, but they handle it better.
However, men seem to be emotionless when subject to pain, to keep their cool/awesomeness, but their insides are usually screaming.
Pain is created when nociceptors (small stuff in your skin) register trauma to nearby tissue, which releases a bath of chemicals that tell the nerves that you're feeling pain.

Here's some tips in case you get punched, stubbed, etc
1: RELAX. Loosen everything. This helps stop the pain a bit.
2: Mental stimulation: Tell you brain to stop giving you pain signals and tell it its WRONG.
3: Distraction: Watch TV after you stubbed your toe. After a while you should completely forget about whatever it is. If you have an itch, play sports or a video game and you'll completely forget about it.
4: Ice it up
5: Imagine something healing.

However, if you LIKE pain, contact a doctor, as it is a disorder.
